The Society for the Advancement of Excellence in Education provides non-partisan education research and information to policy-makers, education partners and the public. Our purpose is to encourage higher performance throughout Canada's public education system.

Research

The most important work of SAEE is field research in Canada's public schools. The research commissioned by SAEE provides timely evidence to expand the knowledge base about school and system change and 'what works' to improve student achievement. Each study presents a thoughtful analysis of the findings to guide policy and practice decisions. The research themes we are exploring are outlined below.
